These terms govern use of the Email Authentication Checker (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

What the Service does

The Service retrieves publicly published DNS records for a domain you enter and presents its SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration. It is provided free of charge.

Disclaimer

Results reflect the responses returned by public DNS resolvers at the moment of the query. DNS caching means the result may differ from the records actually published. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of the results.

DNS provides no way to enumerate DKIM selectors. A result of “not found” does not mean that DKIM is unconfigured.

We accept no liability for loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. If you change DNS records on the basis of a result, please verify the change yourself before applying it.

We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Prohibited use

The following are not permitted.

Accessing the Service by automated means at a rate beyond normal use. A request limit applies, and requests beyond it will not be answered for a period.
Using the Service’s API continuously other than through the Service’s own interface.
Using the Service to infringe the rights of others or for any unlawful purpose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the operator’s head office as the court of first instance.
